This place used to be great until the new chicks in the office. The last manager let us do whatever we wanted and never bothered ... anyone ever. She used to be friends with everyone hang out with them the only reason these new people like it here is because they don’t know yet. They pick on you for everything I’m not allowed to have guests stay here for months at a time my blinds are broken blah blah blah I am pretty sure she had broken blinds at one point even though I just saw she doesn’t now. My father lives in this complex and has for years, and it is exceptionally well managed. They are always attentive and responsive ... to all the tenant needs. He is an older gentleman and they are very kind and work with him to get the job done (whether its getting him a parking sticker or getting his rent auto pay setup). When the toilet overflowed they had someone there is 5 minutes or even less. They fixed the problem and everything. The grounds are getting better the lady that cleans does an amazing job. They have a very nice pool area, actually two of them so it doesn't get over crowded. They have also been "cleaning up" this place and my father has been very happy about it and I feel very comfortable with the support and care that he receives from management! No matter how many times i have ... bugged them to ask them how much longer or what place in line i was in they were always extra nice and always very helpful. i still havent got a move in date just yet but they assured me it was coming and i have already been buying new furniture for my new place. My husband and kids and me absolutely love living here! It is unbelieveable how much time and effort the grounds lady puts ... into this place. Every day she is cleaning something. The small dog areas are very clean too. We have lived here for almost 4 months now and everytime the trash cans overflow shes cleaning it up first thing in the morning. We lived at our last place for years and years and we were scared to leave but the ladies in the office made it so easy with how nice they always are and how fast they send those guys to come help or fix anything needed! My husband and I absolutely LOVE living here. It has been such a positive experience. It's unbelievable the time and effort ... the lady that cleans the complex puts in. Everyday I see her cleaning. The small dog areas never have any poop. We have only lived here for two months now, and I have yet to see her take it easy. And just to show how nice everyone is here, they even gave me the best welcome basket I have ever seen. It had, toilet paper, ACTUAL plates not paper ones, cups, napkins, silverware, cleaning supplies, and a couple more things you do not think about when you move in. I lived here from 2018 to 2020. My favorite things about the complex was the quietness, minus the train, the area, and the ... staff! The manager Monica does truly care about the well being and satisfaction of her tenants. Unfortunately you do not see that too often in a manager so it was extremely refreshing to receive that kind of treatment from the office. On more than one occasion Monica has gone above and beyond with helping and assisting me any my unit issues. In doing so displaying actual genuine empathy and not making me feel like I was annoying her for taking up her time. That truly made an impression on me. The apartment is close to the metro and the surrounding neighborhoods are so nice except the ones right next to them, makes taking walks so much more peaceful. I know I’ve only been here for one month but thus far it has been great. We have had a couple maintenance issues which I ... understand comes with an old building, but I must say that the staff is beyond words. Every time I call they are always quick to help. I even called last night and Monica dropped what she was doing to come help us with our power outage. Jorge has been in my unit a few times always polite and ALWAYS cleans up after himself. The lady in the office is always so cheerful and inviting. I heard parking was an issue we have had no issues with parking either. The lady above us is a little loud but again old building it’s to be expected. Overall just a great place to live my neighbors are nice the area is perfect and I plan on being here for a long long time. Thank you! since google didnt like my review i post it here First of all let me start by saying that i have been here for more than ... 4 managers more than 4 maintenance guys and i am not sure on the assistants. the two girls they have in the office now are BY FAR THE BEST we have had and now that we finally and i mean finally have office people who not only are amazing but they have made this place better. now we have some loser that deosnt work grows and sells weed from his backyard wants to go around trying to get people to lie about these two girls and try to get them fired is just sad. he has no job races through the parking in his stupid car and sells weed from his backyard that he grows and he sells it to minors! had he not approached me to lie i would have never said anything but you cant mess with someone job that just not right man. its not their fault you are a loser who has no job and have nothing better to do than to be mad at the girls for your other loser friend who likes to do work on cars when the manager leaves. i say you guys leave and let us be happy. in case no one knows stay away from the man in 43 who does not care about selling drugs to minors. he sold drugs to some kid who got caught stealing food and i found out the kid just turned 18 and he has been selling to him fro more than a year. I have been here for a few years now. Parking does suck unfortunately that’s how it was built it’s always a struggle to find ... a spot. I have been here through numerous maintenance workers. I think so far Jorge is the best one. We do have this new guy who seems to always be in a bad mood and is ALWAYS on his phone. I don’t know how he gets any work done. I’ve walked by that vacant unit and he’s always texting smh. Then I wonder if he even works full time some days he’s here and some days he isn’t. We are in a great location and the office staff is absolutely wonderful at least in my eye I can see a huge improvement over the last couple mangers and assistants they have had. The lady that cleans up I feel so bad for her because my neighbors are slobs. But overall I like it here but can’t give 5 stars because of the new guy and parking. They fix things promptly when random things break in the apartment, clean the facility every morning. Parking is limited if you have more than 1 car. I have lived at Las Colina Apartments for about 5 years. Living in this community has been a positive experience. The staff ... from the Property Manager to maintenance have been fantastic. My maintenance needs are usually completed within the same day. The guys are friendly, polite and professional. When I call or stop by the office I am always greeted by my name and very helpful with any of my needs. The property overall is always kept clean. Where can I start, well I’ve been here since 2017 and I have gone through what 4 managers, all I can say is Monica is doing ... the best job I’ve seen. I have been complaining about my oven leaking gas she has come multiple times and Jorge had tried switching out parts. I called her one weekend and not only did she actually answer she was the one who switched my stove out! If it had been any other manager they would have not cared but she does. And I don’t want to forget about Adriene, we didn’t start off on the best foot but I apologized for being extra dramatic and every time I call the office she is always up beat and cheery and I just can’t say enough about the staff you guys have finally put together they make this place feel like home finally. Since the day I came into the office in tears looking for a place to call home for me and my babies, they have been nothing ... but good to me ! I waited a long time to get in but once I did I have been at home! I’m a single mom and just like everyone else I’m trying to make it but las Colinas is such a wonderful place, events for kids on holidays and Mónica the manager makes it all possible even on Xmas she made sure to get every child on the property a gift and for she will be blessed ! It’s very well maintained by maintenance and the cleaning crew which is out every morning and thru out the day maintaining the looks and cleanness of the property ! It’s a nice place and a nice apartment. We have been here two years and the area is great close to freeways and shops. The ... two bedrooms are pretty big with two bathrooms I wish the shower was a little bigger but it’s nice to have my own bathroom. It’s pet friendly and even though parking is rough it’s nice that they monitor it because we used to have more car break ins before they started cracking the whip. They have central air and heating which is always a plus and gave me a fridge so I didn’t have to buy one or rent one from them! The staff is always nice to me no matter how many questions I ask. The worker guy is amazing. And every time I call they ask how I’m doing which at a time like this makes all the difference in the world to me. Thank you for giving me a place I can call home.
